I am a college student in northern California. The locals around here (yes I'm being vague on purpose) think that we're close to the ocean, but since I cannot see the ocean from the freeway I think they are wrong. I was raised by a landscape architect and a produce exporter. Most of my childhood was spent in gardens of one sort or another. Most of them had a distinctly English cottage garden feel to them. One such place actually had several gardens, and one they still call "the secret garden." I was always disappointed when people would "find" the secret garden.
I will make no promises for this blogspot, as I'm terrible at keeping down promises when I think nobody is paying attention. So I will do whatever the heck I want with this blog, which might just have to include some recipes and baking.
